ABOUT YOUR PRESENTERS

    Roy Nyquist, President, RN Contracting Solutions. LLC

Roy A. Nyquist has more than 25 years of hands-on government procurement experience at all levels in the acquisition cycle. He also has extensive experience in preaward and postaward government contracting and has been intimately involved with government acquisition reform initiatives, both as an instructor and a contracting officer. Mr. Nyquist retired from the US Army in 2003 where he was an Acquisition Officer.

Currently, Mr. Nyquist is President of RN Contracting Solutions, LLC. His company provides contract management consulting services to both large and small companies along with contract training.

Prior to this position, he was the Director of Contracting for American Medical Depot(AMD). He managed all Bid and Proposals, advises Senior Management on Contracting issues and provides contracting/acquisition expertise to the Sales force. AMD is a major distributor of medical products and provides other services to hospitals, both private and public. Prior to this position, Mr. Nyquist served as a Contract Manager for Tremco roofing and building maintenance. Prior to retiring he served as an Acquisition Officer for U.S. Special Operations Command located at MacDill AFB, FL. and previously served as the Chief, Contracting and Host Nation Support Branch, U.S. Central Command where he was responsible for the formation and negotiation of logistical support agreements between the US Military and the Nations within the Central Command area of responsibility.

Mr. Nyquist holds a Masters Degree in Contract Management from Florida Tech and taught basic through executive contracting courses while assigned to the U.S. Army Logistics Management College (DAU). He is also a member of the NCMA Cape Canaveral Florida Chapter.
